Event photography can be a daunting assignment for any photographer. Depending on the size of the event, this may demand a one-man team or an entire entourage of pro photographers to handle the various placements particularly for big, synchronised events. As a client, you would need to be sure that the photographer has everything on the list. You know you are dealing with a pro if these five key scenes are taken into the final portfolio of your event:
Emotional moments. While you would initially consider of event photography as documenting the actions in the event, it is, indeed, indicating what occurs. More significantly, it captures the spirit of the occasion, as reflected in the terrific outpour of emotions from guests and participants of the event. The photos should show the over-all feeling of everyone, so that when people look at the pictures, they will be reminded of exactly how they felt being in the event.
